Yes because I realized I needed more coverage on track. That's why I wasn't sure if I'd like how it looked lol. That's kinda the whole point of the video. And it still looks better IMO than the 959/1299 because the vents below the headlights are still nice and tucked giving a more menacing and dynamic look.

Great question. The Shoei is still aerodynamic so at city speeds it still great. I would way I felt less buffering at over 100 miles per hour. Maybe like 120mph +. So really at track speeds is when you feel it.

They fit tight! But that's how it supposed to. The head hole opening to small to seal around your neck and prevent buffering. I am most likely using it tomorrow for my first track day of the season and will shoot a review video after. I haven't decided if I'm taking the HJC or the Arai yet.

Curious why you think so? I did extensive research and here's why I chose Forged Aluminum over Carbon or even Forged Magnesium. - You can't run tire warmers that also warm the rim with Carbon wheels. The vendors will say you can, but if you call the manufacturers as I have (BST and Rotobox), they will tell you that you can't. Since my bike is street and track of prefer to run Pirelli SPs, which I prefer to run warmers with fort my sessions. - CF Wheels don't bend, they crack. Not only are the not repairable (thus a higher potential replacement cost), but they are harder to spot potential failures as they don't bend. - Magnesium is only marginally lighter than Aluminum and not nearly as durable. They pretty much have the same problem as CF except you can use warmers. - My last reason is subjective. There are only certain designs I liked...of the CF Wheels, the Rotobox Bullet which are a lot like OEM Cast design, Titax Wheels which also resemblance OEM, and then the Marchesini OEMs because they are so open.

This helmet is nosiy compared to my Shoei RF-1200 but sportbike helmets are pretty noisy especially depending on your speeds. I suggest investing in a good set of ear plugs. I always ride with them and that helps a ton. There are quieter helmets out there but they tend to be heavier and sometimes have extra features that aren't track approved like a drop down visor. What did you mean by it isn't any better than ECE and DOT? ECE, DOT, Snell, and FIM are all pretty different when it comes to their helmet safety tests.

@@BoostedBunny I do wear earplugs used at noisy construction sites and concerts. But due to the noise levels I can barely hear my cardo JBL speakers at 70-80 mph. I meant, these are equally safe as any other cheaper brand that are truly ece dot certified. example - The Sedici strada helmets from cycle gear are way way quieter than these and equally safe. Their Primo line for $300 are Snell approved for track use. Their interior feels much premium than these Agv's. Only downside is, they don't look as flashy as these Agv's.

@@aniv5833ah yes absolutely. I'll share my perspective from working in manufacturing and marketing in the CPG industry for 20 years. I agree with you on the certifications. However the more established brands typically invest more in research and often exceed these certifications vs just meet them. The quality of helmet materials are often much higher in the established brands vs like a Sedici...however that applies to the tiers in the helmet line not the price points. So a $300 Sedici will likely have more premium materials and more features than a $300 AGV but may not have higher quality construction, durability or safety. All in all...any helmet you can afford, you like, and fits you well it's going to be a good helmet IMO.

@@BoostedBunny True True! But these lower tier Agv's are not made by AGV in Italy, Instead in China partnered with MHR helmets, last time I checked. Of course they oversee their manufacturing processes and quality standards, but won't be close to how the Corsa's or Pista GP's are. But I totally get your perspective and agree to what you're saying 🙂

That's the smoke visor. It is a light tint, and yes you can see through it from the outside...but it depends on the angle and how far you are away. I like it because I can use it on cloudy days without swapping to a clear visor.

151 Silicone adhesive sealant. I think mine was white but you should look for a clear version.

You have to adjust them right. Which took me several rides. The mirrors are so concave that you have to push the lenses really wide inside the mirror housing. Now I love em!

They are so hard to find. I got it from a European site. Search HJC HJ35. That's the visor that fits. SpeedAddicts had some in stock I believe.

@@BoostedBunny it’s not sitting flush with the mounting holes and is contacting the chain. It’s sitting correctly on the bottom of the swing arm too.

dumb question but are you underneath all of chain guard and rear hugger? It's needs to go underneath them all. That helped me

Oh and this is assuming you have a V4 Streetfighter. It won't fit thr V2.

😂😂 not at all. Have you seen my garage? While I like the look of the V4R and have added course decals, the base V4 is arguably the better street/track bike combo due when you upgrade parts. The dry clutch alone on the V4 is a huge headache for little gain when you think about the price and maintenance schedule.

@@BoostedBunny yea definitely not the mentality of someone that has a lot of money. I don't need to justify buying a cheaper bike/car, I can afford the flagship regardless of maintenance and all the other expenses that come with. You gotta pay to play. Enjoy the bike though, ride safe.

Not sure. It is ECE.2205 and the new K1s is ECE.2206. It may pass but it doesn't have the certification printed on the helmet.

@@niggyschliggy6057 less safe. These helmets often exceed the certifications. Think of it like you taking a test. Just because you pass the test doesn't mean you don't know more. It just means you passed what you were tested

Get it! It's one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. Handles better than the newer generation. Honestly I like it more than my GTR for all around driving. But my GTR has a bigger wow factor.

I am more of motorcycles and sport cars man, I still have nothing as just moved to Canada but hopefully next month will get the CLA 45, if the car conditions are good, is it ok to get with 80-100k mileage (km) or better go bellow 60 for used cars?

Mercedes engines are traditionally strong and as long as the CLA wasn't modded, I definitely feel comfortable getting one with that many miles. Just take it in to Mercedes when you get and have them check it over. It's a high compression engine, don't skip on the maintenance and the car will be good to you.
